Bonghwangdae is 22 meters high and 82 meters in diameter, making it the second largest tomb after Hwangnamdae Chong. Siklichong, located south of Bonghwangdae, is 6.5 meters high and 30 meters in diameter, and when it was investigated in 1924, it was found to be a stone tomb with an additional wall (kwak).

Cheomseongdae, the 'oldest observatory in the East'. It is believed to have been built during the reign of Queen Seondeok, the 27th Queen of Silla, and is one of the landmarks symbolizing Gyeongju. It is about 9 meters high, with a cylindrical part shaped like a wine bottle on top of a base that serves as a pedestal, and a square-shaped top on top.
