      Geumseong-dong, Gongju-si, is a collection of tombs of kings of the Baekje dynasty in Woongjin. The tombs in the area, including the tomb of King Muryeong, date back to the 7th Dynasty and are located on the southern slope of the hills that extend from Songsan to Jusan.

      Nonsan Myeongjae Gotak was built by scholar Yoon Jeung-sim during the reign of King Sukjong of Joseon Dynasty. He was known as "Baek Eui-jeongseung" because he refused the king's wages 18 times, and was known for his lifelong practice of frugality and sharing. The house has no imposing gates or intimidating high walls, reflecting his austere lifestyle. The prized possession is Mr. Yun's arc.

      Jeonju Jeonjeon Cathedral, Historic Site No. 288, was built on the site of a Catholic martyrdom during the Joseon Dynasty. It was built outside the Pungnam Gate in Jeonjeon, Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, where Catholics were executed. Jeonju was home to Jeolla Prison during the Joseon Dynasty, so Jeonjeon naturally became one of the martyrdom sites in the Catholic Church.
