      Im Jingak Peace Nuri
      Imjingak Peace Park in Paju, Gyeonggi-do, is a complex cultural space built within Imjingak on the occasion of the 2005 World Peace Festival. The park was created to transform Imjingak, a symbol of division and the Cold War, into a symbol of reconciliation, coexistence, and peaceful reunification.
    • 3rd Tunnel
      3rd Tunnel
      The third tunnel was discovered inside the DMZ on October 17, 1978, based on intelligence from North Korean tunnelers in Guisun, North Korea. It is believed to be located 1.2 kilometers west of the Demilitarized Zone (DMZ) and extends 1.6 kilometers south through a rock layer averaging 73 meters underground.
    • Dora Mountain Observatory
      Dora Observatory
      Dora Observatory, which guards the northernmost point of the Western Front, is located on the summit of Mount Dora at an altitude of 167 meters, 1.5 kilometers from the Military Demarcation Line, and was inaccessible due to the demilitarized zone until its opening in January 1987.
