    Program Overview

    Gachon University’s Korean Language Education Center (KLEC) belongs to the Office of International Affairs and was reorganized in 2021 as a specialized center for Korean language education. It offers a systematic 6-level program (Levels 1–6) in small classes (about 12 students each), focusing on practical communication, academic skills, and cultural adaptation for international students planning to enter Korean universities or live and work in Korea.

    Application Procedure

    Completion Requirements

    • Attendance: In principle, at least around 80% of total class hours per term is required to complete a level.
    • Grades:
      • Passing scores in mid-term, final exam, assignments, and quizzes according to KLEC evaluation standards
      • Students who do not meet the minimum score must repeat the level
