Pusan National University Korean Language Program – Admission Guidelines
This guide provides information for international applicants who wish to enroll in the Pusan National University Korean Language Program. Please carefully review eligibility criteria, application procedures, required documents, tuition & fees, and contact information.
1. Eligibility
- International applicants who have completed high school (or equivalent) at the time of application.
- Applicants who can submit all required original documents; documents not in Korean or English must be translated and notarized.
- Applicants who are able to obtain a valid visa for language study in Korea (e.g., D-4 visa) and have no legal restrictions for staying in Korea.
- Applicants who agree to comply with Pusan National University regulations, Korean immigration laws, and attendance requirements of the Korean Language Program.
2. Admission Procedure

Level 1 Korean Language Regular Course Curriculum (Beginner)
Level 1 at the Pusan National University Korean Language Program is designed for learners who are studying Korean for the first time. Students begin with the Korean alphabet (Hangul), basic pronunciation, and core sentence patterns, and practice essential expressions used in everyday life such as greetings, self-introduction, simple shopping, transportation, and campus life in Busan.
