Important Information
Admission Requirements
All incoming residents must submit a tuberculosis (TB) test certificate from a medical institution and a written oath to comply with dormitory regulations during registration. These documents must be submitted on the day of move-in.
Prohibited Activities
Smoking and drinking alcohol inside any building area (rooms, corridors, bathrooms, showers, balconies) are strictly prohibited and may result in immediate dismissal. Cooking appliances, heating devices (except dryers), and flammable substances are not allowed in rooms. Guests who are not dormitory residents are not permitted to enter or stay in the building.
Safety and Security
24-hour security personnel are stationed at entrances. All residents must use their assigned card key for building access. Card key replacement fees apply if lost. Fire evacuation procedures are posted throughout the building and should be reviewed upon arrival.
Penalty Point System
Dormitory violations result in penalty points that accumulate throughout the academic year. Serious infractions may lead to immediate dismissal, while accumulated points can result in forced move-out or denial of re-admission. Major violations include theft, assault, property damage, unauthorized room changes, and network abuse.
Laundry and Facilities
Laundry cards must be purchased and charged with cash only. Washing and drying each cost 1,200 won per cycle. Each floor has designated common terraces/balconies for air-drying clothes.
Refund Policy
Full refunds are available before the move-in period begins. After moving in, refunds are prorated based on remaining days with a 10% cancellation fee if 30 or more days remain. No refunds are issued with fewer than 30 days remaining. Forced dismissal includes an additional 100,000 won deduction.
Meal Services
The 1,000 won breakfast program is available during the semester exclusively for dormitory residents (limited quantity, one per person per day). Regular meal services require separate payment. In-room dining is restricted - outside delivery and instant noodles are prohibited in rooms.
Internet and Network
High-speed internet is available in all rooms. However, using P2P programs, illegal software, IP theft, virus distribution, or hacking through the dormitory network will result in dismissal. Residents must maintain proper network etiquette.
